There doesn't seem to be any penalty if you run away, and fighting only drains your health. Nobody lives forever. Your best bet is to keep searching for food, you're going to find weapons, med kits and bullets; you won't need any of course. If someone offers you food for an item, just give them what they want, food doesn't go bad or get stolen. This game is hard if you focus only on killing and looting, but easy if you enjoy free food and running away. I liked it a lot.

"but easy if you enjoy free food and running away. I liked it a lot." haha *hug*

I like the concept, I liked the part where the music got faster. The only difficulty I had, was that the game got very choppy, but that might just mean that I need a new computer. Also, when you land on the trees, you fly a hundred feet up. This game would probably benefit from some way of controlling his fall.

Neat!

Short, easy and a good way to practice typing. I love text based games.

Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it!

You lost my respect after the first 15 minutes. Since when has the Doctor just handed out sonic screwdrivers as though they were lollipops? Seems like everyone has one in the game. I couldn't get into it. First of all, there's no Rock Quarry (would have made my day). Secondly, there's not a single monster made out of hefty bags and green paint, wtf? You can make a damn fine game sir, just not one that's about Doctor Who.

This is a well balanced, FUN game that doesn't make me thing of echo the dolphin. I hope this gets front paged!

I like this game a lot. Yeah it's hard, but definitely not Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts hard. Despite glitches and a seemingly undefinable goal, you can play this game from start to finish, unlike Dark Seed. My only beef with it, is that it lacked a way of sorting the characters by stats or equipped item. In the later part of the game I had about 58 survivors, and I just didn't care to go through each one to figure out the best way to equip them.

But enough about that. The game has good art, the music and sfx do not diminish gameplay and the raid cut scenes made me just a tiny bit nostalgic of Master of Orion. Plus, it sticks with what the genre is about and it does it well enough.

If you want to beat the game, just recruit as many losers as possible. They'll probably all starve to death under your rule, unless of course you send them out into the wasteland (where they probably would have died anyway) to find food. Five tips for beating this game:
1. Don't send anyone out there with anything more than a bat and a banana hat.
2. Keep a few extras in the background to work in the kitchen, or fight on the lines. Only people that stay at home base get good weapons.
3. Traps are a waste of time and money.
4. The game gets harder day by day, and whenever more of the map is revealed, so put away your compass.
5. Drink Yoohoo.

This is really awesome, could it have a request song button?

deathink responds:

I am not sure I know what you mean... drop me a PM and I will see what I can do :D

I really liked the game, I found 9 marbles so far. Is something supposed to happen with the phone? I'm curious.

what the heck is the song the girl is singing?

ProgressivegamesDLE responds:

Hi, Turn-Coat. Nice going, finding 9 marbles. :)
If you read some of the earlier comments, you should find a clue as to what to do with the phone... ;)
The song is called C C My Playmate, it's a children's clapping song...

Fun, hard, and full of surprises!

Easy enough to beat if you use the pause button to your advantage (Not gonna say more). Those mask things were hard to dodge, the opening animations for each character were cool. Didn't unlock all of 'em, but the megaman one was pretty funny. My three favorite abilities are the whistle, ghost, and red potion. I don't usually play/enjoy this type of game. It kept me enthralled.

I rather enjoyed the game

The level of customization and art was very good, and as far as I can tell everything works. However, whenever you do something, you get this barrage of text popping up in the middle of the screen. I could not continue to play because of this. People can play this game without that. Is there anyway of turning that off?

FightClub69 responds:

The popup text is only the most important instructions (apart from a tiny bit at the beginning) and it drops off to 2 or 3 messages by level 2 and then is extremely rare (maybe 1 per level) afterwards.
I tried a few different approaches to tutorial instructions but they either scared players away (popup dialogs with detailed instructions) or didn't get read (a little window that slides in from the side with a brief message on it) by the testers. This (fairly ugly) solution was the best compromise I could think of!
Honestly, stick with it through level 2 and you'll hardly see those messages for the rest of the game!

Like a Baldrick do!
